Frequently Asked Questions
When does cardLAck launch?
We're targeting a public launch in Q3 2025. Waitlist members get access first — typically 2–3 weeks before the general public. Join the waitlist to lock in your spot and founder pricing.
How does card consignment work?
Submit your cards using the form above. We review within 48 hours and send a pre-approval with pricing guidance. If you accept, we email you a free prepaid shipping label. Once received and verified, your cards go live in packs. You earn 80% of the final sale value, paid via ACH or PayPal within 3 days of each sale.
How do you verify card authenticity?
Every raw card is inspected by our team upon receipt. For graded cards, we verify the certification number against PSA, BGS, CGC, and SGC databases. Cards that fail authentication are returned at our cost.
Is there a minimum card value to consign?
We typically accept cards valued at $20 or more. Collections under $200 total may be deferred during peak intake periods. High-value single cards ($500+) are always prioritized.
Do I need a business license to become a partner?
No license is required to apply. However, payouts over $600/year require a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (international) for tax purposes. You can provide this after approval — it won't delay your application review.
What if my cards are lost or damaged?
All cards are insured from the moment we receive them. In the rare event of loss or damage in our facility, we pay out the full appraised value within 5 business days. Shipping is also insured — we file any carrier claims on your behalf.
Can I withdraw my cards after submitting?
Yes. If your cards haven't been featured in a pack yet, you can request a return at any time. We ship back at our cost within 3–5 business days. Once a card has been included in a live pack it cannot be recalled.
